Original red cloth printed in black, 95 pp. A presentation copy: "To Miss Percival, in memory of a very pleasant day in March, 1922....Leslie Curtis Kitselman". Stories, some poems and jokes, mostly regarding the divorce business in Reno, which was getting underway in about 1900. Leslie Curtis (1882-1962) "arrived in Reno in 1909 from New York City, where she had been a showgirl and a newspaper writer. In Reno, Curtis wrote for local newspapers" and sent poems, stories, and articles to several of the magazines, including "Smart Set" and "Overland Monthly". She married wealthy businessman Alva Kitselman in 1910 (Glotfelty, Writings From the Silver State, 2008, p.273). Light rubbing, Fine.
