She begins with a discussion of the 50th anniversary of the Hursley Vicarage, "I suppose you know that the group in that photograph....consists of Mr. and Mrs. Keble, Dr. Moberly, and myself", then moves on to the recent (1895) Ku Cheng Massacre of missionaries in China, and recommending a book: "The martyrs of Ku Cheng are very grand people, and your children should hear of the noble conduct of little Kathleen Stewart....'The Sisters of Ku Cheng' is the name of the book. The two (for three) girls came from Australia and their brave mother has since gone out (to the mission in China) to supply their places." Two conjugate leaves, 2 1/2 pages, folded once and beginning to separate there. In Very Good condition.
