Original printed wrappers, pp. (289)-319, illustrated with an engraved frontis (The Walhalla) and a hand-colored floral plate (The Scarlet Columbine, Aquilegia Canadensis). This issue contains an anonymous review of Parke Godwin's "A Popular View of the Doctrines of Charles Fourier", 1844 (see Myerson, 1978: C15). A negative review by the "Parlor". Godwin, a Brook Farmer, was trying to drum up support for the American Associationist movement. Some edge chipping, but essentially a Fine copy.
