These copies presented by Bottomley to his friend and fellow poet Lascelles Abercrombie. In volume one, on the last page: "1904-1906, Gordon Bottomley". He has also crossed out a 4 line stanza in "Hymn of Form", p.36, and written a new 4 line stanza in its place. Abercrombie has signed "L.A." on the 1/2 title and done some underlining in pencil. some wear, soiling, light foxing, a Very Good copy. In the second volume, on the 1/2 title, "Lascelles Abercrombie, from his friend Gordon Bottomley. Cartmel. April 11th, 1912:. Some wear, especially to spine, a little soil, edges foxed.
