On printed letterhead, dated New York, December 15, 1966, to Robert Clark, reporter for ABC television, presenting Clark with a "Churchill Commemorative Crown" for his work covering Nixon in many of his several 1966 campaigns and trips abroad. He exhorts Clark to think of Churchill's statement "with regard to the Munich settlement in 1939: 'The belief that security can be obtained by throwing a small state to the wolves is a fatal delusion". Clark (1922-2015) had to hear Nixon "discuss this principle ad infinitum as it applied to Viet Nam." The coin/medallion, with Churchill on the front and the Queen on the back, is enclosed in acrylic with Clark's and Nixon's names and a date. Both items in Fine condition.
