1 Greenwood, F.W.P. Francis William Pitt. A Sermon, Preached in King's Chapel, November 22, 1835, the Sunday After the Funeral of the Rev. James Freeman, D.D.

Boston: Russell, Shattuck, and Williams, 1835. First edition. Original printed wrappers, 25 pp., 23.5 cm tall. Freeman was the first American to call himself a Unitarian (www.uua.org). Removed from a bound volume, some wear and soiling. A Good copy.

Boston: Russell, Shattuck, and Williams, 1835. First edition. Lacking the wrappers, 25 pp., 21cm tall. Joseph Tuckerman's copy, his signature on the title. Tuckerman (1778-1840) was a Unitarian minister distinguished by his work with the poor. He was a deft fund raiser, and pioneered the innovative "Ministry-at-Large" to Boston's poor. He roomed at Harvard with William Ellery Channing; they remained lifelong friends. Removed from a bound volume, light foxing, a Very Good copy.
