London: Oxford University Press, 1955. First edition. Original green cloth, gilt, and printed dust jacket. Edited by Claude Colleer Abbott and Anthony Bertram. Bottomley was older and mentored Nash until they became colleagues and friends. The painter Nash was a "solitary, ultrasensitive boy" (from Abbott's introduction) who became an affable, gregarious artist who collaborated often, especially as a set designer. Jacket browned at spine and edges, Fine copy in Very Good jacket.
